Biography
At Utah Tech 2021-22 (Junior): Started in all 31 games and averaged 10.3 points (11.4 in WAC play) on 45.7 percent shooting and 5.2 rebounds a game … scored in double figures in nine of his final 12 starts, including back-to-back 15-point outings at home vs. New Mexico State (2/10) and Grand Canyon (12/12) … poured in a career-high 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting vs. Weber State (11/27) … posted his first UT double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in a road win at Chicago State (1/29) … picked off a career-high four steals and had 10 points at Stephen F. Austin (2/5) … earned Academic all-WAC honors.
At Odessa College (2020-21): Helped lead the Wranglers to a WJCAC regular season championship and to a berth to the 2021 NJCAA D-I Basketball tournament finals … earned all-WJCAC honors after averaging 8.6 points and 4.2 rebounds a game … scored in double figures in nine of 22 games played, highlighted by a season-high 19 points on 7-of-8 shooting with nine rebounds in a win at Frank Phillips College (2/8), and an 18-point performance vs. Western Texas (4/6).
At Jacksonville (TX) College (2019-20): Played his freshman year at JC, where he averaged a double-double at 13.3 points and 10.2 rebounds a game … started in 21 of 27 games for the Jaguars and shot 50.4 percent from the floor and better than 77 percent at the foul line.
At Havo 1 (Suriname – 2016-18): Participated in basketball, soccer and swimming while at Havo 1 … also played for his country’s national team, for which he averaged 21 points and eight rebounds a game in international play.
Personal: Born in Paramaribo, Suriname … parents are Alexander and Joyce Leter … favorite team is the Brooklyn Nets … favorite player is Kevin Durrant ... currently majoring in business management.
