Kasey Winters

Kasey Winters is in his sixth season on the Trailblazer men's basketball coaching staff and in his first season as associate head coach. Prior to his return to his alma mater, he spent four years as the head coach at Bear River High School, leading the Bears to a Utah State 3A runner up finish during the 2012-2013 season.
 
Winters played for Coach Judkins at Snow College during the 2001-2002 season, as well as the 2004-2005 season after serving a two-year mission to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Before reuniting with Coach Judkins at Dixie State for his senior year, Winters played the 2005-2006 season at Idaho State. Following a redshirt year after transferring to DSU in 2006, Winters averaged 17.9 ppg and 9.6 rpg as a senior and was named 2007-08 PacWest Newcomer of the Year and received the Dixie State Athlete of the Year Award.
 
Winters earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Dixie State in 2008. He and his wife Meridee are the parents of four children: Jackson, Addison, Kendall and Stockton. Coach Winters is also the grandson of former World Middleweight champion and International Boxing Hall of Famer Gene Fullmer.
