At Utah Tech 2024: Appeared in 17 games with six starts and posted an 0-3 record … struck out 44 in 43.0 IP … recorded at least one strikeout in all 17 appearances … fanned a season high five against both UT Arlington (3/9) and California Baptist (5/17) … earned academic all-WAC honors.
 
At Davis High School: Earned three varsity letters in baseball was a 2021 Utah 5A first team all-state selection after going 7-0 with a 2.10 ERA and 96 strikeouts … held opposing batters to a .166 average … also lettered in golf.  

More on Cade: Born in Ogden, Utah … parents are Jerimie and Rebecca Montgomery … father Jerimie play college golf at Utah State and is a professional long drive athlete, and mother Rebecca was a college gymnast at Utah State … favorite team is the Texas Rangers … favorite athlete is Tiger Woods … currently majoring in applied and computational mathematics.
