Bruno Silva enters his seventh season on Utah Techs's Athletic Training staff and will serve as head trainer for Trailblazer football. A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he attended Weber State University, where he played on the rugby team and graduated with two degrees - a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training, and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy with a coaching minor.
Bruno then went on to attend Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Fla., where he earned his Master’s Degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Sports Medicine.
His professional experience includes NFL internships with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans, along with Arena Football, NCAA FCS and high school athletic work, and with performing arts at Disneyland.
Bruno became BOC certified and received a state license in athletic training in 2011. He is the father of two amazing sons - Hyde and Ayrton.
