Braden Jorenby

Braden Jorenby is in his first year as Director of Football Performance at Utah Tech Athletics. 

Jorenby is responsible for leading all aspects of weight room training and sport preparation for the Utah Tech football team. He focuses on return to play for injured players, development of physical qualities needed for football and conditioning for in-game demands.

Prior to joining Utah Tech in March of 2025, Jorenby was the assistant director of football strength and conditioning at UNLV for the 2024 season, helping the Rebels to a No. 23/24 final ranking, an 11-3 record, a Mountain West Conference Championship Game appearance and a bowl game win at the Art of Sport LA Bowl Hosted By Gronk. 

In 2022 and 2023, Jorenby worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Wofford College, assisting with football and serving as the head of strength and conditioning for track & field and volleyball. He helped the Terrier volleyball squad to back-to-back Southern Conference titles, including an NCAA Tournament berth in 2023.

Hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, Jorenby holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota - Duluth, where he played college football from 2016 to 2020. Jorenby also earned a master’s degree in Kinesiology from his hometown University of Wisconsin. He holds CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) and PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist) certifications.
