At Utah Tech 2023 (Freshman): Sat out the season as a redshirt.
 
Before Utah Tech: Earned three varsity letters in football at Roy High School … helped lead the Royals to a pair of region titles and a Utah state semifinal appearance in 2018 … earned first team all-area and was a two-time first tem all-region pick … earned team Defensive MVP honors after he racked up 97 totals tackles with five sacks and 11 TFLs during his senior season … also lettered in basketball and lacrosse. 

More on Preston: Born in Ogden, Utah … parents are Eric and Amy Anderson … older brother Nathan also played defensive line at Utah Tech … also recruited by Weber State, Southern Utah, Idaho State and Valparaiso … favorite team is the Green Bay Packers … favorite athlete is Bryce Harper … favorite actor is Matthew McConaughey … favorite food is steak … currently majoring in criminal justice.
