Before Utah Tech: Earned three varsity letters in football at Granite Hills High School, where he helped lead the Eagles to a CIF San Diego Section Division 1 title and was named the KUSI PPR Offensive Player of the Year ... was a three-time all-state honorees and earned first team honors twice … rushed for 1,928 yards (148.3 ypg/8.0 ypc) and 29 touchdowns, and caught 23 passes for 211 yards and four TDS during his senior season ... set 13 school records, including career rushing yards (3,066), career rushing TDs (46), career all-purpose yards (3,484) and total touchdowns (52).
