At Utah Tech 2025: Started in all 12 games at right tackle as a true freshman … helped anchor an offensive line that surrendered only 16 total sacks in 12 games … earned Academic All-WAC honors. 
 
Before Utah Tech: Originally signed at Utah Tech in 2022 and just returned from an LDS Church mission … was a two-time all-region 4 selection and earned second team region honors at Corner Canyon High School in 2022 ... also attended Fremont HS for three years. 

More on Matthew: Born in Pocatello, Idaho … parents are William and Kelly Snarr … wife’s name is Macie … father William played college basketball at both Utah Valley and Utah, and mother Kelly played volleyball at Utah Valley and Utah … also recruited by Weber State, Southern Utah, BYU, Idaho, Idaho State at Portland State … favorite team is the San Francisco 49ers … favorite player is Quenton Nelson … currently majoring in electrical engineering. 

Why Matthew chose Utah Tech: "I chose Utah Tech because I came down for a game day visit when they played Southern Utah (in 2022) and the game day environment was electric. I loved that and knew that I wanted to be a Trailblazer. Also the coaching staff was a big part of my commitment.”
