Biography

At Utah Tech 2022 (Junior): Played in all 11 games including three starts ... helped protect the Trailblazers’ "Spread and Shred" attack, which was the WAC’s top passing offense (310.36 ypg) and led the conference in passing touchdowns (28), and was second in the WAC in total offense (425.36 ypg) … also part of an offense line that helped produce the WAC’s top rusher in (Quali Conley - 1,095 yds - UT school record) ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.

At Utah Tech Spring 2021 (COVID Sophomore): Played in all 11 games at center and started got the starting nod in the final nine games of the year ... earned Academic All-WAC honors. 
 
At Utah Tech Spring 2021 (Sophomore): Started in three of the four games he played in the spring season … was part of an offensive line that helped produce 420.8 yards of total offense (298.4 pass/122.4 run) and surrendered only six total sacks in 194 total pass attempts.  
 
Before Utah Tech: Originally signed at Southern Utah, where he appeared in two games for the Thunderbirds in 2019 ... earned three varsity letters in football at Punahou High School and helped lead the BuffnBlue to a 27-3 overall record over his prep career ... was part of the 2013 and 2014 ILH league and 2013 state championship teams ... was named to the 2015 American Family Insurance all-USA Hawai’i first team and earned the 2015 Olin Kreutz Award ... also a Cover2 Hawai’i Lineman of the Year finalist ... was a multiple first team all-state selection ... also lettered in wrestling and baseball ... was ranked as the #2 heavyweight wrestler in the state ... graduated in graduated in June 2016.
 
More on Kana'i: Born in Harbor City, California … parents are David and Valerie Eldredge … father David played college baseball at BYU and served as an assistant coach at BYU, Loyola Marymount and Hawai’i Pacific, and head baseball coach at Southern Utah ... also recruited by Navy, Army, San Diego, Southern Utah, Azusa Pacific and Southern Virginia … favorite team is the New Orleans Saints ... favorite player is Drew Brees ... currently majoring in mathematics education.
