At Roy High School: Was a four-year varsity letter winner in football and a three-time all-region selection at both offensive and defensive line … earned all-state honors at both OL and DL as a senior team captain in 2019 … also lettered in basketball, tennis and track and field … graduated with a 3.88 GPA.
Personal: Born in Ogden, Utah … parents are Dan and Janette Kirkland … also recruited by Utah, BYU, Utah State, Weber State, Southern Utah and Idaho State … favorite player is teammate Cannon Panfiloff … currently majoring in general studies.
Why I chose Utah Tech: “I chose Utah Tech because they were willing to hold my scholarship while I served an LDS Church mission.”
