At UTEP 2017-20: Played in 40 career games with three starts for the Miners over four seasons … rushed for 942 career yards and three touchdowns … ran for a career-high 137 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown vs. Louisiana Tech during his freshman season in 2017 … also caught 16 career passes for 59 yards.
 
At Americas High School: Earned three varsity letters in football and was a 5,000-plus yard career rusher for the Trailblazers … rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his three varsity seasons and was rated as a three-star recruit (247sports.com) … ran for 2,477 yards and 26 touchdowns, and scored 32 TDs overall, as a senior en route to Texas 6A first team all-state honors.   
 
Personal: Born in Fort Stewart, Georgia … parents are Jack Sr. and Carol Fields … older brother Jack played running back at Boise State … also recruited by Texas, Michigan State, Texas Tech, Stanford, New Mexico, Air Force, Colorado, SMU and Texas State … currently majoring in marketing.
