Biography

Enters the 2021 Fall Season as DSU’s NCAA Era career PAT (56) and FG leader (18), and is third in career points (110). 
 
At Dixie State Spring 2021 (COVID-Senior): Tallied 35 total points after converting 14-of-16 PAT and 7-of-11 field goal chances last spring … tied two single game school records in the 60-0 rout over Fort Lewis (3/27), including going 4-for-4 in field goal attempts, highlighted by a career-long and school record tying 50-yarder late in the fourth quarter … wound up accounting for 18 of DSU’s 60 points in the shutout win. 
 
At Dixie State 2019 (Junior): Broke two DSU single-season records for made kicks after he connected on 11-of-13 field goal and 42-of-45 point-after-touchdown attempts on his way to first team all-RMAC and third team Don Hansen all-Super Region 4 recognition.  
 
At Snow College: Converted 12-of-16 field goals for the third-best mark in the NJCAA as a sophomore in 2018 … nailed a season-long 49-yard field goal and was successful on 62-of-71 point-after attempts ... helped lead the Badgers to an 18-4 record in two seasons, which included a 2017 El Toro Bowl championship. 
 
At Northridge High School: Earned Utah 5A All-State honors as a senior … also participated in track and field and was a state finalist in the javelin … graduated in June 2013 … also attended Maple Mountain (UT) and Northern Burlington County Regional (NJ) high schools.  
 
Personal: Born in Spokane, Washington … father is Richard Baird … also recruited by Weber State, UNLV, Liberty, William and Mary, and Sioux Falls State … also attended BYU prior to his time at Snow College … favorite team is the Baltimore Ravens ... favorite athlete is Bryce Harper ... graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Sports Management in May 2021.
