At Utah Tech Fall 2021: Sat out the season as a redshirt. 
 
At Orem High School: Was a four-year varsity letter winner and two-year starter in football and helped lead the Tigers to four-straight Utah 5A state titles from 2017-20 … earned all-region and honorable mention all-state recognition. 
 
Personal: Born in Orem, Utah … parents are Mic and Shelby Hixson … also recruited by Valparaiso, Colorado Mesa, Black Hills State, William Penn and Lake Erie … favorite team is the Denver Broncos … favorite athlete is Penei Sewell … currently majoring in exercise science. 
 
Why I chose Utah Tech: “I chose Utah Tech because I wanted to be part of a Division-I program and help build something great!”
