Before Utah Tech: Earned three varsity letters at Simi Valley High School, where he was a two-way player both the offensive and defensive lines … helped lead the Pioneers to a Marmonte League title and to the CIF Southern Section Division 3 championship game … was an all-county, all-state and all-CIF selection and earned Lineman of the Year honors.
