Personal
Shanna Adamiak is the daughter of Tim and Denelle Adamiak, and the sister to Jack Adamiak and Travis Yamada. She was born and raised in her small town of Sonora, Ca, located in the Sierra Nevadas. The person that she looks up to most is her grandfather, and he is a major part of her success. In her spare time she likes to go camping, hiking, fishing, and spend as much time as she can in the mountains. She is a huge baseball fan and her favorite team is the San Francisco Giants, she finds herself attending games on a regular basis. She will be majoring in Psychology with hopes to become a counselor and a mentor for younger children.
Before Dixie
Lettered all 4 years in both golf and softball.
Team captain for the golf team in 2007 and 2008.
Played for College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Ca. Played for 2 years and during which she helped her team make it to the State Finals where they placed second.
