At Utah Tech 2024: Got the starting nod in four of Utah Tech’s first five games at quarterback before missing the remainder of the season due to injury … threw for 412 yards on 36-of-75 passing and two touchdowns … went 14-of-28 for a season-high 188 yards and two touchdowns at UNLV (9/7).
Before Utah Tech: Started the last nine games at quarterback at Iowa in 2023 and helped lead the then-nationally ranked Hawkeyes to the Big 10 West division title and a trip to the Big 10 Championship, along with a bid to the 2024 Cheez-It Citrus Bowl … completed 122-of-251 passing for 1,152 yards and five touchdowns, and finished the season with two rushing TDs … threw for a season-high 223 yards and a touchdown in a home shutout victory over Rutgers (11/11) … spent his first two collegiate seasons at Wisconsin (2021-22), where he appeared in one game, but did not record a passing attempt … prepped at Santa Barbara High School, where he was rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals, and a three-star recruit by 247-Sports and ESPN… earned all-CIF and News-Press All-County Offensive MVP honors as junior after he threw for 3,102 yards and 33 touchdown, while rushing for 461 yards and 13 more TDs … was invited to play in the 2021 Polynesian Bowl following his senior season and was a preseason All-America pick prior to that year … also lettered in basketball and water polo.
