Before Utah Tech: Was a two-year varsity letter winner at Casteel High School, where earned second team all-district, and AZCentral all-state and All-Premier honorable mention accolades … went 12-for-15 in field goals and 40-of-41 in PATs and led the Colts in points as a senior with a school record 76 … also set school records for longest made field goal (54 yards), single season and career field goals made (12), single game field field goals (3) … earned an Academic Athlete award. 

More on Cyrus: Born in Lancaster, California … parents are Francisco and Danielle Aguinaga … also recruited by Fresno State, Northern Arizona, Southern Utah, Sacramento State, Fort Lewis, Black Hills State and South Dakota Mines … favorite teams are the Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers … favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant … favorite musician is Travis Scott … favorite food is his mom’s cooking … currently majoring in finance.
