Marcus Graves enters his fourth season as a defensive assistant at Dixie State in 2018.

Graves has served as an assistant defensive backs coach since 2016, after serving as a volunteer assistant in 2015, where he helped coach and train all defensive backs. 

In 2017, Graves assisted in the DSU secondary, which finished 19th in the nation in Pass Defense Efficiency. Graves coached two players who earned RMAC recognition for outstanding performance, with Jaylen Moore being selected second team All-RMAC and Tyneil Cooper earning RMAC honorable mention.

In 2016, Graves had two players earn RMAC recognition for outstanding performance with Tyneil Cooper being selected second team All-RMAC, Jaylen Moore earning RMAC Defensive Freshman of the Year.

Prior to joining the staff at DSU, Graves played three season as defensive back at Humboldt State, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in business administration.Â
