Kelby Hofheins has been a part of Utah Tech Athletics since 2010 and was appointed Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine on August 1, 2017.
He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Brigham Young University in 2008. After graduation, Kelby spent two years as a graduate assistant with the BYU football team on its sports medicine staff.
Kelby has worked with a variety of athletes: football, baseball, track and field, basketball, and volleyball at all levels. He has also worked at various Nike Elite football camps.
He is currently the athletic trainer for UT's men's basketball teams and men's/women's golf team, and he assists with the Trailblazer football team.
Kelby and his wife Karen are the parents of four children - son Peyton and daughters Avery, Zoe and Macy.
