Judd Thompson is in his fifth season on the DSU coaching staff. He came back to his alma mater 2011 as quarterback coach, as well as serving as running back and wide receiver position coach, and offensive coordinator from 2012-2014.
Thompson was a four-year letterwinner in football at DSU, and is currently ranked second all-time in the school’s Division II era in single-season and career total offense.
Thompson prepped at Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake, Ill., where he played football, baseball, and wrestling.
He and his wife Elizabeth are the parents of one son, Henry. He holds a Master’s degree in Athletic Advising from Kansas State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from DSU.
