Blake Rolan enters his first season at offensive coordinator at Dixie State in the 2018 season.
Rolan comes to Dixie State after spending the 2017 season as an offensive analyst at Kentucky, where he helped lead the Wildcats to a 7-6 record and a bid to the Franklin America Mortgage Music City Bowl. Prior to his stint at UK, Nolan served as wide receivers coach at the University of Cincinnati from 2013-16, and helped guide the Bearcats to three bowl appearances in four seasons.
Rolan began his coaching career at Kentucky's Country Day High School, where he served as associate head coach and offensive coordinator from 2004-06. He moved on the Auburn, where he worked as a graduate assistant coach over quarterbacks and tight ends from 2007-09. Then after a one-year stint as running backs coach at West Georgia in 2009, Rolan worked in quality control at the University of Tennessee for then-offensive coordinator and current Georgia OC Jim Chaney from 2010-12.
A native of Rome, Ga., Rolan played quarterback and tight end at Middle Tennessee State from 2000-03. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education at Louisville in 2005, and earned a Master's degree from Auburn in 2008. He and his wife, Bennett, are the parents of three children.
