Benson Laumatia enters his second season as an assistant on the Dixie State coaching staff in 2018.

Prior to joining the Trailblazers coaching staff, Laumatia played three seasons (2014-16) on the defensive line at Dixie State, recording 82 tackles (9.5 for loss), 4.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
