Before Utah Tech: Was part of the Ohio Bobcats’ program for six season, during which he appeared in 33 career games and tallied 16 receptions for 118 yards … posted career highs in receptions (7) and yards (54) during the 2021 campaign … prepped at Danville Community High School, where he hauled in 46 passes for 700 yards and 15 touchdowns during his senior season … that year he helped lead the Warriors an undefeated regular season and conference, sectional and regional championships, and a No. 1 overall ranking … was named Indiana Mr. Football as the best tight end following senior year and earned all-state honors … also had three rushing touchdowns and six sacks … recorded 1,600 career receiving yards and 21 touchdowns during his four-year career while serving as team captain his last two seasons … also lettered in basketball.
