Former Trailblazer player Zach Thomas is in his second season as the program's Director of Baseball Operations.

Thomas played five seasons for Coach Pfatenhauer, both as a pitcher and a utility player. He earned six career victories on the mound and collected 46 strikeouts in 70.2 total innings. He was also a career .279 hitter with 21 XBH, including 10 homers, along with 38 RBI and 48 runs scored. 

Thomas was a three-time academic all-WAC selection and he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Finance in 2022.
