Enters the 2023 season t-eighth in on-base percentage (.436) and 11^th in walks (73). 
 
At Utah Tech 2022: Started in all 53 games he played and led the team in batting (.350), doubles (13), RBI (40) and runs (47) … also drew a team-high 40 walks (#3 on UT’s single season list) and led the club in OB% (.452) … went 7-for-13 in stolen base attempts … finished the year with 19 XBHs, including five homers and was one of eight players to leg out a triple … hit safely in 39 of 53 games primarily out of the lead-off spot with 22 multi-hit games, including six three-hit games and two four-hit outings … recorded his first collegiate four-hit game with a double, homer and three RBI vs. Utah Valley (3/5) … also pounded out four hits with a double, HR and two RBI vs. Sacramento State (4/24) … scored at least one run in 29 games, and drove in at least one run in 26 starts, including seven-straight games (2/26-3/5) … earned academic all-WAC honors.  
 
At Utah Tech 2021: Earned honorable mention all-WAC recognition after a breakout freshman campaign 3/5)… started in 46 of 52 games played and batted .287 with four doubles, six home runs, 25 RBI and eight stolen bases … hit safely in 33 of 52 games played with 10 multi-hit games, including four three-hit games … hit .295 (34-of-115) with five homers and nine total extra-base hits over his last 37 games batting out of the lead-off spot … two of his six homers were lead-off homers … scored two or more runs 11 times, highlighted by a career-high four runs scored vs. Seattle U (5/15) … 26 of his 37 runs scored came in WAC play.  
 
At Faith Lutheran High School: Was a four-year varsity letter winner in baseball and a second team all-region pick for the Crusaders.  

Personal: Born in Las Vegas, Nevada … parents are Russell and Amie Taylor … also recruited by UNLV and Concordia-Irvine ... favorite team is the Los Angeles Angels … favorite player is Trea Turner ... currently majoring in business management.
