At Utah Tech 2025: Started a staff-high 14 games and pitched to a 2-4 record with 57 strikeouts in 83.1 innings pitched … earned his first victory of the year vs. CSU Bakersfield (3/15), against which he scattered one earned run (four total) and six hits over seven innings with four strikeouts … fanned a season-high eight in a no-decision at California Baptist (3/22) … struck out three and surrendered only one run and seven hits in a 9-1 triumph over Grand Canyon (4/19).  
 
At Pacific (2023-24): Played two seasons at Pacific, where he appeared in 40 career games and recorded one win and two saves … struck out 50 in 71.1 IP, with 31 of those strikeouts coming as a sophomore in 2024.
 
At Centennial High School: Earned three varsity letters in baseball for the Bulldogs … was a two-time first team all-region and an honorable mention all-state selection on the mound … posted a 4-3 record with 32 strikeouts over 35.2 IP in eight appearances during his senior season. 

More on Ryan: Born in Las Vegas, Nevada … parents are Chris and Kari Martinez … father Chris played baseball at then-Dixie State (now Utah Tech) … also recruited by Pacific, Loyola Marymount and New Mexico State … favorite team is the Vegas Golden Knights ... favorite player is Shane Bieber … favorite singer is Eminem … currently majoring in business.
