Biography

Enters the 2024 season fifth in K/9IP (7.80), t-seventh in appearances (50, eighth in strikeouts (137) and IP (158.0), and t-ninth in saves (6).
 
At Utah Tech 2023: Appeared in 15 games with six starts and finished with a 1-7 record … racked up 40 strikeouts in 41.2 IP, highlighted by a season-high five punch outs in a start at Oklahoma State (3/11) … fired three innings of one-hit relief with three strikeouts at UT Arlington (4/7) … recorded at least one strikeout in 14 of 15 outings overall … earned academic all-WAC honors.  
 
At Utah Tech 2022: Made 20 appearances with seven starts and posted a 4-2 record … opened the season as the Trailblazer closer, picking up two saves of his four saves on the year in his first four outings … went on to start seven of his final 10 appearances, highlighted by a strong seven inning effort vs. Sacramento State (4/24), against which he struck out four and scattered two runs and five hits to earn the decision … recorded at least one strikeout in all 20 games and finished with 54 punch outs in 59.1 IP … earned academic all-WAC honors.   
 
At Utah Tech 2021: Started in 10 of 15 appearances and finished with a 3-6 record and one save … picked up all three of his wins in his final five appearances … earned his first collegiate win in the series finale vs. Utah Valley (5/3), against which he struck out a career-high tying five and surrendered five hits in six shutout innings … also fanned five over 5.1 innings in a home win vs. Seattle U (5/16) … finished with 43 strikeouts in 57.0 IP … earned academic all-WAC honors. 
 
At American Fork High School: Helped lead the Cavemen to the 2016 Utah 6A state championship … was named 2018 Utah Valley Player of the Year and was a two-time al-state selection … earned four varsity letters in baseball. 

Personal: Born in American Fork, Utah … parents are Kyle and Anne Hardman … father Kyle played baseball collegiately at Snow College and at Utah, while mother Anne play college volleyball at Utah Valley … older brother Sean pitched at Dixie State for two seasons in 2017 and 2018 … also recruited by Utah, BYU, UNLV, Yakima College, College of Southern Idaho and Salt Lake CC ... favorite team is the Boston Red Sox ... currently majoring in business management.
