At Dixie State 2019: Started in 13 games and surrendered three of fewer runs in eight of those appearances … posted with a 5-3 record with 45 strikeouts in 58.2 IP …  fired 6.2 innings of four-hit ball with four strikeouts to earn his first win of the year vs. MSUB (2/23) … struck out a career-high eight and scattered three hits and one run in 7.0 IP in a road win at MSU Denver (4/14) … fanned seven and surrendered just one run and six hits in 8.2 IP in the RMAC first round game vs. UCCS (5/8) … 2018: Sat out the season as a medical redshirt … 2017: Made 13 appearances with 10 starts and finished with a 3-3 record … won his season debut in the series finale at Cal State San Bernardino (10-1; 2/5), scattering four hits and one run over 5.2 IP with three strikeouts … hurled four innings of one-hit scoreless relief with three strikeouts to earn the decision against Academy of Art (3-2; 4/8) … struck out a season-high five in a win over Holy Names (7-3; 3/5) … finished with 30 strikeouts and a 5.60 ERA in 54.2 IP … 2016: Appeared in 13 games with five starts and posted a 3-1 record with a 3.82 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 35.1 innings pitched … earned his first collegiate victory after tossing two innings of one-hit relief with a strikeout in the season-opener vs. CS San Bernardino (2/5) … picked up a win in his first collegiate road start at Academy of Art (3/15), against which he threw six scoreless innings and scattered six hits with three strikeouts … recorded at least one strikeout in 10 of his 13 appearances.  
 
At Murray High School: Earned four varsity letters in baseball for the Spartans ... was named 2014 Region 7 MVP as a junior and a Utah 4A Honorable Mention all-state selection.
 
Personal: Born in Murray, Utah … parents are Doug Hannay and Amy Poole ... favorite team is the Boston Red Sox ... favorite player is Dustin Pedroia … also recruited by Utah, Utah Valley and Salt Lake CC ... currently majoring in business administration.
