At Taft Valley College (2015-18): Led the Cougar staff in appearances (22) and starts (12) as a sophomore and finished with a team-high nine wins (9-4) with two saves … also led the staff with a 2.96 ERA and struck out a team-best 91 batters in 91.1 innings pitched … earned second team all-conference and was named to the CVC Gold Glove team … was a three-time academic all-conference pick.

At Rancho High School: Was a two-time all-conference utility selection and led the Sunrise Region in strikeouts as a senior … also earned second team all-state pitching honors during his senior season.

Personal: Born in Las Vegas, Nevada … father is Wade Kealoha … also recruited by Nicholls State, Southern University, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Dominguez Hills and Lamar … favorite team is the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim … favorite player is Bryce Harper … currently majoring in psychology.

Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because it is a great university with my primary major and is also close to my childhood home in Las Vegas. The baseball program has a rich reputation in recent years for winning. It is clear to me that the culture provided in St. George with DSU is a great one to be a part of. Dixie State is the ideal environment for me to take my final steps before tackling the real world and my career either still on, or off the baseball field.”
