At Utah Tech 2023 (RS-Junior): Played in all 11 games with one start in his first season as a Trailblazer … finished the year with 21 total tackles along with 2.5 TFLs and 1.0 sack … tallied a season-high five stops with a sack at Austin Peay (11/11).  
 
Before Utah Tech: Played in two games at Fresno State during the 2022 season … recorded one tackle vs. Cal Poly (9/1/22) … played two seasons at Allan Hancock JC (2019-21), where he was a two-time first team all-conference and 2021 All-America selection … racked up 64 total tackles, including 24.0 TFLs and 12.0 sacks in 19 career games … prepped at Kailua High School (Hawai’i), where he was a two-sport letter winner in football and basketball … earned honorable mention and first team all-OIA honors. 
 
More on John: Born in Waimanalo, Hawai’i … parents are Jonah Sniffen and Paulette Carson … currently majoring in recreation and sports management.
