At Dixie State 2021: Started 14 games and posted a 3-5 record … finished with 73 strikeouts in 69.2 IP … was a two-time WAC Pitcher of the Week honoree (4/5 and 5/24) … fired the second no-hitter in Dixie State’s NCAA era in a (7IP) 5-1 win at Tarleton (4/2), against which he fanned eight, allowed only four total baserunners (3 HBP, 1 BB), and retired the final 14 Texan batters he faced … struck out a career-high 14 in a seven-inning CG win over Northern Colorado (11-2; 5/21) and scattered two runs on seven hits … tossed 5.1 shutout innings with seven strikeouts in a 2-1 victory over California Baptist (4/17).
 
At Dixie State 2020: Started in his lone appearance in the pandemic shortened season … pitched 4.0 innings of one hit shutout baseball with five strikeouts to earn the win vs. Adams State (3/7).
 
At Dixie State 2019: Made seven appearances out of the Trailblazer bullpen and posted a 1-0 record with 13 strikeouts in 8.2 IP … struck out three hitters in each of his first three appearances and picked up his lone win in relief vs. Cal State LA (2/9).
 
At Dixie State 2018: Appeared in 12 games with two starts and posted a 3-0 record with a 4.13 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 28.1 IP … earned his first collegiate victory in relief vs. Hawai’i Hilo (3/29) after scattering one run and four hits with three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work … fanned a season-high five twice in consecutive winning road decisions at Biola (4/20) and at Concordia-Irvine (start – 4/28).
 
At Union High School: Was a four-year varsity letter winner in baseball and was a first team all-league and all-state pick … posted a 3-1 record with a 1.72 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 41.2 IP as a senior … ranked as the No. 8 pitching prospect in the state of Washington by Perfect Game entering his senior season.
 
Personal: Born in Portland, Oregon … parents are Brian Borzone and Darleen Veter … father Brian played basketball collegiately at Chico State … also recruited by Arizona State, Portland, Concordia (OR), Pacific and Pacific Lutheran … favorite team is the San Francisco Giants … favorite player is Max Scherzer …currently majoring in communication.
