At Skyview High School: Was a four-year varsity starter and helped lead the Hawks to one conference championship … was a two-time conference player of the year honoree and two-time first team all-state pick … batted .512 with 13 doubles, three homers, 37 RBI and 44 runs scored during his senior season … closed his prep career as a .393 hitter with 34 doubles, five triples, five homers, 111 RBI and 108 runs in 108 games.
