Utah Tech University Athletics

At Irvine Valley CC (2022-23): Played two seasons for the Lasers and was named the Orange Empire Conference Defensive Catcher of the Year in 2023 … led the OEC in caught stealing percentage (.420) … hit .343 with only eight strikeouts in 119 plate appearances in 2022 … was named to the IVCC Dean’s List both years. 
 
At Woodbridge High School: Earned three varsity letters in baseball and was a first team all-Pacific Coast League selection as a senior … earned the PCL Sportsmanship award.  

Personal: Born in Irvine, California … parents are Steve and Melanie Tallakson … father Steve played college tennis at UC Irvine, and brother Avery plays tennis collegiately at New Mexico … favorite team is the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim … currently majoring in recreation and sports management.
