Tyler Mildenberg returns to the Trailblazer Baseball program for his first season as an assistant coach and will oversee player development.
Coach Mildenberg played two seasons at Dixie State (2016 and 2017) and in 2017 earned First Team All-Pacific West, D2CCA West Region, NCBWA West Region and ABCA/Rawlings West Region honors. During his senior season in 2017, Mildenberg co-led the PacWest in triples (5) and was ranked in the league's top-10 in batting (7th, .367), runs (t-2nd, 57), hits (t-5th, 69) and RBI (4th, 46). Mildenberg hit safely in 40 of 53 games played with 19 multi-hit outings, including a career-best 5-for-5 day with four RBI and three runs scored in a win vs. Holy Names (3/5). He finished his two-year DSU career third all-time in triples (7).
A native of Huntington Beach Calif., Coach Mildenberg is a 2018 graduate of Dixie State, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to his arrival to DSU, he played two seasons at Oregon State from 2014-15. Â
