Trent comes to Dixie State with extensive experience at all levels of the game. Trent recently retired as a catcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. He prepped at Tooele High School and played collegiate baseball at Arizona State and Auburn University.  He is married to Dixie State's women's volleyball coach Darice Pratt.  Together they have twin daughters, Morgan and Marly, and one son, Brooks.
