Former Dixie State baseball standout, Kyle Boyer is in his first year as an assistant coach for the baseball team. Boyer was a member of the 2002 Dixie State baseball team, where he was selected to the All-Conference team. Following the 2002 season the St. Louis Cardinals drafted Boyer in the 4th round.  He played for the Cardinals’ organization until 2005.
Boyer graduated from Bonneville High School in 1998. He was an All-State selection in both baseball and football. After high school he played baseball at Kansas State University for one year.
Boyer served a two year LDS mission in Argentina. In 2006 he married his wife Tiffany and they have two children.
