Utah Tech University Athletics

At Utah Tech 2023: Appeared in 17 games with five starts and posted a 2-1 record … finished with 23 strikeouts in 35.0 IP … fanned a season-high five and scattered one run on seven hits in five innings to earn the win at California Baptist (4/2) … racked up four strikeouts in 2.1 scoreless innings of relief vs. South Dakota State (3/4) … tallied at least one strikeout in 10 outings overall … earned academic all-WAC honors.
 
At Umpqua CC (2020-22): Pitched for two seasons for the RiverHawks program and was a first team all-league and all-NWAC selection … posted a 9-4 record with a 2.03 ERA and 88 strikeouts in 88.2 IP during his sophomore campaign in 2022 … went 5-2 as a freshman in 2021 with a 3.22 ERA and 52 punch outs in 58.2 IP.  
 
At Cottonwood High School: Earned four varsity letters in baseball … helped lead the Colts to four-straight region titles and to two Utah 5A state championships … earned the save in the Colts’ 2019 state title clinching game.    

Personal: Born in Tucson, Arizona … parents are Cory and Jacque Angeroth … also recruited by Nevada, Northern Colorado, Bellvue, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Lewis and Clark, and Jamestown … favorite team is the Pittsburgh Pirates … favorite player is Andrew McCutchen … currently majoring in criminal justice.
 
Why I chose Utah Tech: “I chose Utah Tech because it moved me closer to home so my family would be able to watch my final two years of college baseball.”
