Biography

At Dixie State 2019: Started in 40 of 43 games played ... hit .302 with 10 doubles, four home runs and 31 RBI ... hit safely in 27 games with 10 multi-hit games, and had at least one hit in nine of his final 12 games overall ... drove in three runs on four different occasions, highlighted by consecutive three-RBI games at Adams State (3/8-9) ... went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a solo HR in the finale at Adams State (3/10) ... earned RMAC all-Academic Honor Roll recognition ... 2018: Played in 23 games with two starts and batted .130 with one home run and three RBI … belted his first collegiate HR, a game-tying two-run shot vs. Cal State San Bernardino (2/10) … also collected a PH single at Point Loma (2/24) and drove in a run vs. Hawai’i Hilo (3/31) … earned Academic All-PacWest honors … 2017: Came off the bench to play in six games and combined to go 1-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored … collected his first collegiate hit against Concordia (OR) (2/16) and first-career RBI against Holy Names (3/5).
 
At Brigham Young 2014: Originally signed at BYU out of high school.

At Dixie High School: Was a four-time all-region and three-time all-state selection who helped lead the Flyers to the 2012 Utah 3A state title … was chosen to play in the Utah High School All-Star Game in 2013 and 2014 … was also a three-year letter winner in football and was a three-time all-region and two-time all-state pick.
 
Personal: Born in St. George, Utah … parents are Danny and Jenny Ipson ... wife’s name is Clara … favorite team is the Atlanta Braves ... also recruited by BYU, Santa Clara, Wichita State, Utah Valley, Southern Utah, Weber State, Grand Canyon, Pacific, Fort Scott CC and Crowder CC ... currently majoring in business administration.
