At Cypress College: Pitched two seasons with the Chargers baseball program … earned first team all-OEC honors after going 9-2 with a 2.73 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 95.2 IP … also collected 2024 second team all-OEC and Cypress’ Best Individual Performance Award … went 3-2 during his freshman season with 40 strikeouts in 47.0 IP … hurled a complete game one-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in his season finale vs. Saddleback College.  
 
At Esperanza High School: Was a three-year varsity letter winner in baseball … earned first team all-CIF honors as a junior and senior and was named conference Pitcher of the Year accolades in 2023. 

More on Brandon: Born in Anaheim, California … parents are Michael Wyland and Stacey Harrell … lists his late “Papa” as his biggest influence as a student-athlete … also recruited by CSU Bakersfield, Point Loma and Bellarmine … favorite team is the Los Angeles Angels ... favorite player is Mike Trout … favorite food are his grandmother’s tacos … currently majoring in kinesiology.
