At College of Southern Idaho (2017-18): Was a left-handed specialist in the CSI bullpen in 2018, out of which he pitched to a 2-2 mark with one save in 25 relief appearances … led the CSI staff in opponent batting average (.140) and struck out 33 in 28.2 innings of work to help lead the Eagles to a 2018 NJCAA World series berth … earned third team academic all-region honors.

At Stevens High School: Earned three varsity letters in both baseball and football.

Personal: Born in Rapid City, South Dakota … parents are Darren and Jennifer Soucy … father Darren played college football at Boston University and mother Jennifer played softball collegiately at Northern State … also recruited by MSU Billings and Central Washington … favorite team is the Tampa Bay Rays … favorite player is Chris Sale … currently majoring in exercise science.

Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because I loved the feel of the school and it was my best option to pursue my major as well as baseball.”
