At Salem Hills High School: Was a three-year varsity letter winner in baseball and garnered 2019 All-Valley Offensive MVP honors along with first team all-region and all-state recognition ... was a 2019 Rawlings/Perfect Game pre-season all-region pick and was a 2019 Utah 4A all-star selection ... earned academic all-state honors ... also earned three letters in football and was a two-time all-region pick. 

Personal: Born in St. George, Utah … parents are Bryan and Christina Hofheins ... father Bryan played college basketball at Utah Valley State College (now UVU) and BYU ... also recruited by Duke, BYU, Bucknell, Southern Virginia, Mount Hood CC and the College of Southern Nevada ... plans to major in pre-med.
