Biography

Enters the 2024 season t-first in career appearances (71) and is five strikeouts shy of entering the career top-10 list.
 
At Utah Tech 2023: Co-led the bullpen with 20 relief appearances and finished 0-1 with 18 strikeouts in 28.0 IP … punched out a season-high four against both Oklahoma State (3/11) and New Mexico State (3/18) … collected at least one strikeout in 10 outings … tied the Utah Tech career appearances record in his final outing at Sacramento State (5/18). 
 
At Utah Tech 2022: Led the Trailblazer staff with 25 appearances (T-2nd on UT’s single season list), with the final 23 of those coming in relief … did not pick a decision but was credited with a pair of saves in his final two appearances … struck out a career high five in 3.2 innings of work vs. Grand Canyon (4/8) … recorded at least one strikeout in 21 games, including his last 11 overall, and struck out three or more six times … finished with 40 strikeouts in 37.0 IP.
 
At Utah Tech 2021: Appeared in 19 games with four starts and finished with a 3-5 record … two of his three wins came on the road, including earning the decision in DSU’s 11-9 upset win at then-No. 6 Arizona (5/28), against which he struck out four and scattered one run and four hits over 3.2 IP … was awarded the win vs. Seattle U (5/15), against which he fired 2.2 innings of shutout baseball with two punch outs … finished with 37 strikeouts in 36.1 IP.     
 
At Utah Tech 2020: Made seven relief appearances out of the Blazer bullpen during the pandemic shortened season and posted a 3-0 record with a 2.08 ERA … earned the decision in his collegiate debut at Cal State San Marcos (1/31), against which he fired 3.1 innings of two-hit shutout baseball with four strikeouts … fanned three over two innings to pick up the win over Concordia (OR) (2/21), and fired two spotless innings to earn the win vs. Adams State (3/6).   
 
At Santana High School: Enjoyed a solid senior season for the Sultans as he posted a 2.13 ERA en route to all-Grossmont Conference and Perfect Game All-American honorable mention honors ... over final two prep seasons, he struck out 111 and walked just 32 in 113 innings ... also lettered in basketball and was an all-conference honorable mention pick. 
 
Personal: Born in San Diego, California … parents are Randy and Martie Hart … also recruited by Colorado Mesa, MSU Denver, San Diego, Wake Forest, UNLV, Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount and UC Irvine … favorite teams are the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers … favorite player is Tim Lincecum … currently majoring in recreation and sports management.
