Before Dixie State:
Transfer from Utah State. Was an all-conference selection as a junior and a senior. Received honorable mention to all-area team. Was selected as high school’s male athlete of the year. Was named all-conference in baseball and received second team all-area honors. Was honorable mention all-state.

Parents are Layne and Marilyn. Engaged to Liz Pugmire. Served two-year mission for Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Dominican Republic.
