Biography

At Washington State (2020-21): Was a member of the Cougar football program for two seasons … played in 13 games in 2021 and finished the year with 15 receptions for 192 yards and one touchdown … caught his first collegiate TD and put up a season high 58 receiving yards at Oregon State (10/21) … played in four games during the COVID 2020 season … collected his first collegiate reception and finished with three receptions for 31 yards at Utah (12/19).
 
At San Juan Hills High School: Earned three varsity letters in football and earned multiple Sea-View League MVP and CIF Southern Section honors … led the Stallions to a pair of Sea-View League titles and CIF Southern Section championships … racked up 1,924 all-purpose yards (128.2 ypg) and 25 touchdowns as a senior, including 1,216 yards on 78 receptions … also named to the Los Angeles Times All-Star Team as a defensive back after making 105 tackles, five interceptions and two fumble recoveries … caught 46 passes for 643 yards and nine touchdowns, and made 65 tackles with four interceptions on defense, during his MVP junior season … rated three-star prospect by ESPN.com, 247Sports.com and Rivals.com…rated No. 95 wide receiver in the country and No. 62 prospect in California by Rivals.com…two-time All-CIF first-team selection in track…holds school record in 4x100m.
 
Personal: Born in Indianapolis, Indiana … parents are Billy Joe and Danielle Hobert … father Billy Joe played quarterback at Washington and played eight seasons in the NFL with the Los Angeles Raiders, Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts … mother Danielle played college soccer at Sonoma State … sisters Kennedy (WBB at George Fox) and Samantha (soccer at Arizona State) are also college student-athletes … also recruited by Washington State, BYU, Hawai’i, San Diego State, UNLV, San Jose State and Montana State … favorite team is the Cincinnati Bengals … favorite player is Walter Payton … currently majoring in sociology.
