Biography

At Utah Tech 2022 (Senior): Played in 12 matches and finished with 134 kills, 23 digs and 11 blocks in 69 sets … had a career-high 22 kills and 46 attacks on 9/29 versus UTRGV

At Utah Tech Fall 2021 (COVID-Junior): Played in 16 matches and finished with 90 kills, 23 digs and 28 blocks in 54 sets ... had a .career-high eight blocks on 9/18 versus Southern Utah

At Snow College Spring 2021 (COVID-Sophomore): Played one season for the Badgers and earned 2021 first team all-Region XVIII and region all-tournament team honors … helped guide the Badgers to a 26-3 overall record and to the NJCAA Division I national championship match this past spring … led the region and finished 15th-nationally with 326 kills (3.3 kps) … reached double figures in kills in 17 starts with three 20-plus kills outings, highlighted by a career-high 24 kills in a five-set loss vs. USU-Eastern (1/30) … also finished third on the team with 67 total blocks, fifth in digs (192) and sixth in aces (19).
 
At West Virginia 2015 (Freshman): Racked up 143 kills, 20 total blocks, 31 digs and six aces for the Mountaineers in 78 sets played. 

At Taylorsville High School: Won two varsity letters for the Warriors and was a two-time all-state pick, including first team honors in 2014 … also earned region MVP and Samoa Bowl Defensive Player of the Year recognition … attended Hunter HS in 2012-13. 
 
Personal: Born in Salt Lake City, Utah ... parents are Junior Talo and Vaipapa Talia … mother played volleyball collegiately College of Eastern Utah (now USU-Eastern) ... also recruited by Weber State, Idaho State, Southern Mississippi and Adams State ... played club volleyball for both Dynamite and High Country clubs … favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers … favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant … currently majoring in psychology.
