At Dixie State 2020: Won four of his first five starts in a pandemic shortened season … earned RMAC Pitcher of the Week honors after he fanned six in six innings of two-hit shutout baseball in his season debut at Cal State San Marcos (2/2) … struck out a career-high seven in 7.1 innings shutout innings in his final start vs. Adams State (3/8) … finished with a 4-0 record with a 2.76 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 29.1 IP.
 
At Dixie State 2019: Posted a 3-1 record in 14 appearances with five starts … finished with 33 strikeouts in 35.2 innings of work … all three wins came in relief, highlighted by a six-strikeout (career-high) performance vs. Regis (4/18), against which he hurled 5.0 innings of one-hit scoreless relief … recorded a strikeout in 11 of 14 total appearances.
 
At UNLV (2016-17): Appeared in 32 career games with eight starts with the Rebels, for which he collected three career victories and struck out 39 in 80.1 innings of work.
 
At Cottonwood High School: Was a four-year varsity letter winner for the Colts and was named the 2015 Salt Lake Tribune 5A Baseball State MVP … also earned west region all-America honors … helped lead CHS to a 79-34 overall record over his four-year career, including a 27-4 mark as a senior … finished his prep career with the second-most strikeouts in school history … was listed on the high honor roll over his final three years of high school. 

Personal: Born in Salt Lake City, Utah … parents are Dave and Jody Gerber … also recruited by BYU, Utah Valley, UNLV, UC Davis, San Jose State and Colorado Mesa … favorite team is the Oakland Raiders … favorite player is Marcus Stroman … currently majoring in psychology.
