Enters the 2021-22 season ranked third in career scoring average (14.9 ppg), sixth in career rebounding average (5.98 rpg), eighth in career FG% (.517) and ninth in career FG made (292).
 
At Dixie State 2020-21 (COVID-Senior): Collected honorable mention all-WAC honors … started in 13 of 21 games played and finished the year as DSU's leading rebounder (5.9 rpg – 9th in the WAC) and second-leading scorer (12.7 ppg – 14th in the WAC) … saved his best basketball for the stretch run as he scored in double figures in 11 of his final 15 games of the year, highlighted by a career-high 31 points in DSU's 93-89 road victory at Utah Valley (2/13) … also notched a pair of 23-point nights (vs. Grand Canyon 1/22; at California Baptist 1/29) during that stretch run, and recorded his second (and fifth career) double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds in the loss vs. Tarleton (2/19) … was named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America second team (3.95 GPA), becoming the third player in the program’s NCAA era to earn that honor … earned Academic all-WAC honors.  
 
At Dixie State 2019-20 (Junior): Broke Dixie State’s single season scoring record with 491 points on his way to first team all-RMAC honors … averaged 16.4 points per game, which was good for fourth on DSU’s single season list, and broke DSU’s season record for FGM (188) while shooting 53.7 percent from the floor … started in 29 of 30 games played and scored in double figures in 26 of those starts with nine 20-plus point outings, highlighted by a career-high 28 points in a road win at CSU-Pueblo (12/14) … posted three double-doubles and averaged 6.0 rebounds a game … pulled down a career-high 13 boards to go with 18 points vs. South Dakota Mines (12/6) … led the team in scoring a team-high 13 times and in rebounding a co-team high 10 times … also finished with 18 blocks and 16 steals … was the only player in the RMAC to finish the season ranked in the top-10 in scoring, rebounding and FG%.
 
At Salt Lake CC 2017-19 (Fr./So.): Earned 2018-19 all-Region 18 honors as a sophomore after averaging 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds a game for the Bruins … started in all 29 games in his sophomore campaign and scored in double figures in 21 of those outings with four double-doubles, highlighted by an 18-point, 15-rebound effort in a win over Laramie County CC (11/24/18) … poured in a career-high 22 points with nine boards vs. Green River College (12/8/18) … led the SLCC in field goal percentage (137-of-250, .548) and finished t-second in blocks (13) … helped lead SLCC to a combined 50-13 overall record in his two seasons and was part of SWAC, Region 18 and District 1 titles as a freshman in 2017-18.  
 
At Spanish Fork High School: Earned two varsity letters in basketball for the Dons … collected region MVP and second team Utah 5A all-state honors in 2015 after averaging 19.0 points and 7.0 rebounds a game … earned academic all-state recognition.  

Personal: Born in Spanish Fork, Utah … parents are Jeff and Annette Schofield … wife Lauren was a four-year varsity letter winner in volleyball at Dixie State who earned D2CCA and AVCA All-American honors in 2018 … father Jeff played college basketball at Ricks College and Weber State … also recruited by Idaho, San Francisco and Montana State … currently majoring in exercise science.
 
Why I chose Dixie State: "I chose Dixie State because I know it will be a fun place to spend my next two years getting my education while getting to play basketball for a great program. I really like the coaches and the way the community supports athletics at Dixie State. I’m also excited to be a part of the transition to Division-I. It is an exciting time for the school and I’m glad I will get to be a part of it.”
