Biography
At Dixie State 2019-20 (Senior): Was named RMAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned RMAC First Team, and D2CCA and NABC First Team all-South Central Region honors … started in all 30 games in this past season and averaged an RMAC-leading 6.0 assists along with 15.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game … finished the regular season as one of only two players ranked in the top-20 in the conference in scoring (t-13th), rebounding (t-12th), assists (6.0/1st and 19th nationally) and steals (2.1 spg/t-2nd and t-53rd nationally) … scored in double figures in 25 of his 30 starts, including 20 of 22 RMAC contests with six 20-point outings in conference play, and closed the season scoring 11 or more points in 20-straight games … tallied a career-high 32 points, 25 of which came in the second half, in Dixie State's RMAC Tournament semifinal loss to Colorado Mesa this past March 6 … also poured in an RMAC season-high 27 points in DSU's home win vs. Fort Lewis (2/15), and scored 23 points in DSU's RMAC co-championship clinching win at Westminster College (2/28) … earlier this season he became the first player in Dixie State's NCAA era to record a triple-double, going for 17 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in a win vs. Texas-Tyler (11/9), which earned him RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors (11/11) … pulled down 10 or more rebounds on five different occasions and dished out six or more assists 17 times on his way to breaking DSU's single-season assist record (180) … finished the season just two steals shy of eclipsing DSU's single-season steals record (60, No. 2 all-time) and wound up sixth in points (453), t-fourth in field goals made (16) and fifth in 3FG made (52) … closed his stellar two years in a Trailblazer uniform (55 games) fifth in career assists (257) and steals (94), ninth in scoring average (11.9 ppg), 3FG made (77) and 3FG percentage (.358), and 10th in career rebounding average (4.9 rpg).
2018-19 (Junior): Earned all-RMAC honorable mention accolades … started in 23 of 25 games played and led the team in assists (77, 3.1 apg), and was fifth in scoring (8.2 ppg) … scored in double figures in 11 of those 25 outings, including nine RMAC contests, and led the team in assists 13 times, highlighted by a career-high seven assists in a win at Western Colorado (1/26) … poured in a career-best 16 points vs. Western Oregon (11/24) … shot 43.6 percent from the floor (71-of-163), including 35.7 percent (38-of-53) from the perimeter … finished second on the team in steals (34, 1.4 spg) and picked off a career-high four steals three times, including in consecutive wins at Western Colorado (1/26) and vs. Fort Lewis (2/1).
At Howard (TX) College 2017-18 (Sophomore): Started in 21 of 31 games and averaged 7.2 points and 3.2 rebounds for the Hawks.
At Casper (WY) College 2016-17 (Freshman): Appeared in 33 games and averaged 8.1 points and 3.0 rebounds an outing for the Thunderbirds.
At Blue Valley (KS) High School: Earned three varsity letters in basketball for the Tigers … graduated in 2015.
Personal: Born in Englewood, New Jersey … parents are Blake and Stacia Pagenkopf… also recruited by Tennessee State, Portland State, UNC-Asheville, Saint Mary’s, Lubbock Christian and Cal State San Marcos … favorite team is the Los Angeles Lakers … favorite athlete is Tom Brady ... currently majoring in business administration and MIS.
