At Dixie State 2018: Started 12 games and posted a 3-5 record with a 5.15 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 64.2 IP … fanned eight and scattered one run and two hits in four innings in his DSU debut vs. Cal State San Bernardino (2/9) … earned his first DSU win against then No. 1-ranked Azusa Pacific (3/2), against which he surrendered eight hits and two runs with four punchouts over 7.0 innings to hand the Cougars their first loss of the season … tossed seven innings of six-hit shutout baseball with five strikeouts in a road win at Holy Names (3/16).

At Arizona Western JC (2016-17): Posted an 11-3 record with two saves in 20 appearances as a sophomore … pitched to a 3.12 ERA and struck out 108 in 98.0 IP … went 3-1 in 12 appearances with 25 strikeouts in 35 IP as a freshman.

At Uintah High School: Earned Deseret News Utah 3A honorable mention honors as a senior in 2015.

Personal: Born in Vernal, Utah … parents are Ryan and Darchel Murray … also recruited by BYU, Utah and Utah Valley … favorite team is the Boston Red Sox … favorite player is Clayton Kershaw … currently majoring in criminal justice.
