At Dixie State: 2016 – Appeared in and started all 11 games as a junior … earned RMAC Honor Roll honors … 2015 – Appeared in nine games and made six starts as a sophomore.
 
At Southern Virginia University: 2012 – Appeared in six games as a freshman for the Knights.

At Alta High School: Earned two varsity letters in football … helped team to a region title as a senior … earned Second Team All-Region honors … graduated in June 2012.

Personal: Born in Murray, Utah … parents are Ric and Gayle Petersen … currently majoring in business.
